At the alley cat Cafe, we are proud to be the only cat cafe in Stratford, Ontario. We are one of only a couple of Cat Cafes in Ontario. Whether you are  looking for a calm, cozy space to simply unwind or you want to help cats in need,we offer a hip and inviting environment where cat lovers of all ages can interact, get some purrr-therapy and meet with cats that are looking for their fur-ever home while learning about cat rescue and care.

It's the place where cats rule !

For a small admission fee to the kitty lounge you can unwind with a cup of tea or coffee and one of our homemade treats while enjoying some cuddles and playtime with our kittens. A little shortcut to happiness.

All of our lovable felines come to us from Feline Friends Network of Stratford (For adoption details click here.) and Hearts4Paws Rescue in Stratford.

If you have questions (and who wouldn't ?), please read our FAQ, send an email, or give us a call - we genuinely love to help.

History

The alley cat Cafe opened on August 17, 2019 at 1 Market Place in historic Stratford, ON and is 100% locally owned and operated by the owners who oversee the business affairs, cat care regimen, and daily operations at the cafe.  We also operate as a resource center for animal rescuers, providing educational workshops and foster home for rescued cats that are waiting for their fur-ever home.

Stop by today and see what all the purrring is all about!

Based in Stratford, Ontario, Feline Friends Network of Stratford began in 2006 to humanely end the problems of cat overpopulation and homelessness in our area. We hope to see a day when every cat may be deemed to be of value, with the opportunity to live a full and natural life.

Our vision for the future? Each life respected... and protected.
