Smudge aka Smooshie

Where to begin with Smudge?

She came to us together with her brother Toebean, rescued from a terrible situation. She had experienced lots of trauma in her past home.

We took the pair under our wings and we were not giving up on her or her brother that also came with a lot of issues. They were adopted to become Residents at the Cafe.

Smudge aka Smooshie was a little diva that knew how to get her way. She despised closed doors and would dance her little circles until the door opened and she got her way to escape into the hallway.

Smudge loved sitting in the cat tree facing the cafe and having her cat naps there. Still each day we enter the cafe and expect here there and its always a very hard realization that she is no longer greeting us.

Smudgy was diagnosed with kidney disease and was on medication but the disease got the better of her.

She was a strong little warrior that held on as long as she could.

The time came to join her brother Toebean and her friends Nefer and Gracie at the Rainbow Bridge.

We will never forget you little Smudge. Miss you every day.
